In partnership with the America250KY Committee, KET is thrilled to invite you to a free screening event at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts.Come celebrate the United States’ Semiquincentennial with us during a free condensed screening of Ken Burns’ six-episode documentary, The American Revolution. This particular screening explores the Spirit of Service as a core American value, from the nation’s founding through to the present day – examining volunteerism, civic participation, public leadership and more.
Enjoy engaging community partner exhibits beforehand in the Main Lobby and then dive into a thoughtful panel discussion moderated by KET’s Renee Shaw after the screening that explores the theme of the screening.
