Free RPG Day 2026 @ Level Up Games - BUFORD

Join us at Level Up Games Buford for a number of great Events and sales promotions, all based around roleplaying games!
About this Event

Level Up Games Buford is excited to be hosting another awesome Free RPG Day!

We will receive a treasure trove of new and exclusive RPG adventures and previews to provide an unparalleled day of roleplaying celebration. We plan to bring back our Quest Card to give you multiple ways to unlock free items while checking out all festivities.
Necessary Materials: Nothing, absolutely nothing! All materials will be entirely provided for you, but you are welcome and encouraged to bring your own dice if you would like.
Cost: Events are entirely free, but we ask that you PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE take into consideration that if you cannot make an Event after acquiring a ticket(s) for it, that you come back here and cancel/release it so that someone else might play that day!

Below are descriptions of the Events being hosted at the Buford location; please take note of the times:

• Dungeons & Dragons: "The Crooked Moon" Quickstart (11:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
  The Crooked Moon is a 632-page book that brings Folk Horror to fifth edition. Inside, you'll find player options & GM tools to terrify your friends in a haunting game you’ll never forget, drawing inspiration from grim folklore, legendary horror films, and classic Halloween aesthetics. In this folk horror adventure made specifically for Free RPG Day 2026, you must investigate a haunted house to rescue the Druskenvalds!
  
• Dungeons & Dragons: "The Mansion That Kills" (11:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
  Who's up for a heist? Your party is contacted by a representative of the crown with a job: break into a mansion and retrieve a specific item. Sounds easy? Well, maybe not. The owner of the mansion is a paranoid and senile ex-adventurer. Good luck! This is a fifth edition adventure for Level 5 characters. Pregenerated characters will be available, but you are welcome to bring your own (and a mini!) if you would like!
  
• Dungeons & Dragons: "Ravenloft - Death in Darkon"(3:00 PM - 5:00 PM)
  The troubles that began in Sithicus have spread shadowy raven wings and flown to other Dread Domains, threatening their inhabitants. The witch Inza Kulchevich calls on the adventurers for their aid in tracking down these shadow ravens and stop their foul ambitions. A secret police force called the Kargat operates within the Dread Domain of Darkon. Members of the Kargatane follow the orders of their immediate superiors without question. In a stronghold beneath the city of Martira Bay, one of those superiors has harnessed the power of a shadow raven to undergo a terrible transformation. This is the Week 2 D&D Encounters adventure, a 2-hour adventure for Level 4 characters. Players are encouraged to bring their character from the other Ravenloft Encounters adventures, but new players can create a level 4 PC using the PHB (Standard Array or Point buy; take one common magic item from the DMG).
  
• Pathfinder 2nd Edition: "Things Go to Hell" (11:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
  When the wizard Yrdris made a deal with a devil to take possession of an infernal tower spun from shadow in exchange for his eternal soul, he expected to find a way around the contract before his demise. He was wrong. Upon his death, the tower was whisked away to Hell along with everything inside. The problem: there were four beings still within who were, for various reasons, considered the wizard’s property, and thus now Hell’s. However, if they can help find the wizard’s soul, which is somewhere in the tower, they can return home!
  
• Starfinder 2nd Edition: "Rescue on Raxil" (2:30 PM to 4:30 PM)
  When a greedy biotech corporation threatens to destroy a planet’s ecosystems and harm an endangered species, a squad of protectors known as Xenowardens deploys to stop them in Rescue on Raxil!
  
• Vast Grimm: "The Gallant Obelisk" (12:00 PM to 2:00 PM)
  Note: In this adventure, you will be playing with the creator, !
  A long-lost recon starship is sending out distress signals from an uncharted planetoid. The netwürk is riddled with rumors that this vessel contains valuable artifacts Terminus S.T.A.R. needs in the fight against The Grimm. This could be YOUR LEGION's biggest payday yet! Explore a derelict starship, scavenge for supplies, all while trying to understand what caused the vessel to crash. Players will receive a Gen Con 2026 Variant Cover of this adventure module.
