Adulting on the Spectrum: Life Skills for Thriving with Neurodiversity
Currently in the U.S 80% of young adults with autism are unemployed or underemployed. Parents will learn to equip young adults with autism for relationships and employment by developing talents, understanding workplace culture, finding mentors, learning emotional regulation, and self-efficacy. Sandison shares the four hindrances to ASD employment and ways to help young adults overcome them. Ron with humor shares his own experiences and challenges with autism and the insight he gained while writing his fourth book Adulting on the Spectrum: An Insider’s Guide to Navigating Life with Autism.
