Join us for the FIRST Box Swap Shop meet-up:
Inventor’s Lab on Wednesday, July 8th at 1 PM!
At Big Rock Park in Santee. After the exchange stay and play at the park! (map the address for Chet Harriett Elementary for the closest parking lot)
KIDS CREATE THEIR OWN INVENTION THEMED BOX BEFORE THE MEET-UP. Kids are welcome to partner up or work on this solo. Then come to the meet-up and swap their box for another box to take home and build.
This month’s theme is all about inventions. Their box can be inspired by engineering, art, food, storytelling, design, or any creative idea they dream up.
Build a challenge, gather the materials, write the instructions, and bring your box to the swap. Now you have a new box, build their invention, and be inspired!!!
Think Kiwi crate, Mel science or crunch labs BUT the kids create the concept (can be their version of something they have done before), put together the materials and instructions etc... then they swap their box.
