IT Professional Training is offering you to join this free (fully funded by SAAS) Python Programming - Associate Course @ Edinburgh. This is a tutor-led,part-time course and students have the option of attending at our Edinburgh centre each week or virtually from home each week. To join you would have to complete admission form and SAAS application.


This part-time, tutor-led course is free for people who qualify for SAAS part-time funding grant and you will not need to pay this grant back to SAAS.

For SAAS funding eligibility:

1. You have to be a resident of Scotland

2. Either employed and earning less than 25k a year or can be unemployed as well

3. Have not used the SAAS funding in this Academic Year.


Course Schedule:
Start Date : Saturday 28th March 2026

Classes per week: One day a week.

Classes timings: 9:30am to 12:30pm

Day: Friday(only)

Duration of the course: 16 Weeks

Modes of Learning: Students have the option of attending this course each Friday at our Edinburgh centre or virtually from home. The instructor records each lesson too.


Introduction:

Python is in its immense demand for a long time due to many reasons, first and the foremost reason it is highly productive as compared to other programming languages such as C++ and Java. Python is also very well-known for its simple programming syntax, code readability and natural language (easy English commands) that make coding in Python lot easier and efficient. In other terms, Python is a general-purpose language sometimes referred to as utilitarian which is designed to be simple to read and write, this makes it very popular for the beginners who want to start a career in software programming. This python course is suitable for individuals who want to pursue their career in Software Development sector. This course is mainly based on Python 3 and also lets the student to learn programming Python 2, to be able to understand/migrate existing applications in use by companies using Python 2.
