Come see the wonders of the heavens through our observatory and members’ personal telescopes set up on the lawn. Whether you’re a young family, an aspiring astronomer, looking for a unique date night, or just curious about the night sky, this event is perfect for you!🔭 Event Details:
- View the stars, and other celestial wonders through our powerful observatory telescopes and members’ personal scopes.
- Free and open to the public!
⛅ Important Information:
- Our stargazing nights depend on the weather. Be sure to check the go-or-cancel notice on https://naperastro.org by 2 PM on the day of the event to confirm it’s happening as scheduled.
🚗 Directions:
1. Enter the Springbrook Water Reclamation Center.
2. To reach the Astronomy Education Center (AEC) with two Observatories, take the entrance road to the back of the facility. We have signs set out to guide you to the observatories.
3. Fork left at the end of the road and follow the curve to the far eastern side of the Springbrook facility grounds.
4. You will see a parking lot and two buildings on a hill.
