Free Presentation & Storytelling Workshop for Job Seekers

Your resume lists what you’ve done. Your story explains why it matters.

In interviews and applications, the candidates who stand out aren’t always the ones with the longest CVs. They’re the ones who can explain their path clearly and confidently. This 2-hour workshop at 42 Berlin helps you build that story and practice telling it out loud.

We’ll use drawing and writing techniques to map your experience, uncover the thread that connects your journey, and shape it into a story you can use in interviews, cover letters, and networking conversations. No drawing skills required, stick figures are very welcome.

What we’ll work on:

• Mapping your career path visually to find your strengths and turning points
• Building a clear “tell me about yourself” story
• Talking about your resume with confidence, including gaps and career changes
• Presenting yourself in interviews: voice, presence, and structure
• Practicing in small groups with supportive feedback

Whether you’re switching careers, entering tech, or returning to the job market, you’ll leave with a clearer story and more confidence telling it.

About 42 Berlin

This workshop is hosted by 42 Berlin, a non-profit software engineering school that helps career changers get into tech from scratch. There are no tuition fees, no teachers, and no previous coding experience required: students learn by working on real projects and learning from each other.

Thinking about a move into tech yourself? Come a little early or stay after the session to look around, meet current students, and find out how 42 Berlin’s free programme works and how to apply.
