FREE: Preparing and Planting Your Spring Veggie Garden

It's time to start planting! March is the perfect time to get your gardening season planted with vegetables that love a cold wet Oregon Spring.

In this hands-on workshop we will talk about the very best vegetables for planting at this time of year including lettuce, arugula, spinach, radishes, turnips, sugar snap peas, onions, and more!

During this workshop we will discuss planting methods from seeds and starts, fertility needs, pest and disease considerations, early season frost protection, and what to expect after planting! We will also discuss soil amendment and how to prepare your garden soil for a successful year.

All proceeds from this workshop will be donated to local non-profits supporting garden education, food justice, and food access.
