Join LYT for an evening with the Royal Court where you will recieve expert advice on their National Playwrighting competition.
About this Event

Coming back to LYT for a second year in a row, The Royal Court will be hosting a FREE playwriting workshop, where you will be supported with coming up with original play concepts, writing scenes, receiving feedback on your work and gaining expert advice and guidance into the Royal Courts National Playwrights Award.

This workshop will be delivered by Oli Forsyth. Oli is a writer, poet, producer and actor whose play BRACE BRACE premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in 2024, the same year he received the Jerwood New Playwright Award.

The Royal Court Young Playwrights Award is a free, open-access competition for anyone aged 13-18 in the UK. All entrants receive personal feedback, and winners will have their plays professionally performed in London and published by Nick Hern Books.
