Architecting Security for the AI world - inside and outside the enterprise
About this Event
Welcome to the Security Architects Round Table, hosted at the new Infoblox London office in Tower 42 on Wednesday, 4th November 2026. This gathering is designed as an open, trusted space for cyber security professionals interested in looking at cyber security through an architect's lens, to step completely away from vendor pitches and product demos. Built in the collaborative, open-inquiry spirit of the COSAC community, the Round Table brings together practitioners across architecture, engineering, SecOps, and risk to test new thinking, examine hard lessons from the field, and engage in genuine peer debate. Whether you live and breathe formal architecture frameworks or are simply curious about how modern systems are defended and want to apply architectural thinking to complex problems, you are warmly invited to join us for an evening of high-value discussion, excellent food, and drinks.

Session 1: Agentic Adoption in Enterprise Security Architecture: Accelerating the Method, Sharpening the Outcome
Enterprise security architecture functions face an acute operational bottleneck: demand for strategic design, business-attribute profiling, risk modeling, and governance consistently outstrips the capacity of senior architectural talent. This session draws on live, production experience embedding AI agents within a Tier 1 global security architecture practice. Jeremy Foote explores how grounding autonomous agents in formal architecture methods, specifically SABSA, provides the taxonomy and discipline required for agents to operate meaningfully across the stack, from high-level business drivers to logical and physical design. The discussion provides an unvarnished analysis of which stages of the architecture lifecycle experience real acceleration, where analytical rigour and traceability improve, and which critical decisions must strictly remain under human ownership. Attendees will explore essential governance boundaries, practical safeguards against fluent hallucination and advisory drift, and the organisational mechanisms needed to harness agentic capability safely.
Speaker Profile: Jeremy Foote
Jeremy Foote is Group Head of Security Architecture at Nomura, leading a global team across London, New York, Tokyo, and Mumbai. With more than 25 years of security engineering, architecture, and leadership experience across Tier 1 financial institutions in the UK and Australia, he is currently focused on how agentic AI reshapes both the security of enterprise platforms and the day-to-day discipline of enterprise architecture.
Session 2: Cybercrime as a System: The Modern Attack Surface Under Pressure
Modern cybercrime has outgrown the model of isolated, opportunistic attacks; it now operates as an industrialised, distributed economic system. A typical enterprise compromise is orchestrated through a specialised supply chain spanning initial access brokers, phishing frameworks, traffic distribution services, automated malware operators, and monetisation syndicates. In this presentation, Simon Cross dissects the underlying architecture of this adversarial ecosystem and illustrates how threat actors systematically accumulate leverage across the enterprise attack surface. The session examines how threat actors map organizational dependencies, probe trust boundaries, and slowly broaden initial footholds before executing high-impact objectives. It also evaluates how emerging AI workflows are altering the economic balance of attack and defense. By synthesising threat research, academic models, and architectural practice, Simon outlines a predictive, systemic architecture model designed to map hidden dependencies, compress the attack surface, and disrupt intrusion chains long before business impact occurs.
Speaker Profile: Simon Cross
Simon Cross is Field CTO – Security, Networks and Cloud at Infoblox. Specialising in enterprise security architecture and Zero Trust design, Simon works with large enterprises and public sector organisations to modernise and defend foundational digital infrastructure. He is a contributing editor to The Open Group Zero Trust Reference Architecture and leads the UK chapter of SABSA World, driving community-led peer forums for security architecture practitioners.
