The Pinball Lounge is excited to once again partner with Free Play Florida to bring you the Free Play Florida Pinball Championship 2024!This Stern Pro Circuit event will be returning to the spacious RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida on November 22nd to 24th, with three days of nonstop pinball tournament play. We will be hosting 5 pinball tournaments, in our dedicated Pinball Tournament Area, directly across from the Main Show Room. The Pinball Tournament Area will feature a large tournament room with dedicated sections for each group of tournament games with player seating and a spacious player lounge to take a break and relax.
To maximize Tournament Play for Main, Classics, and Women’s Tournament Qualifying we will be opening the Pinball Tournament Doors at 12pm, ahead of The Free Play Florida show opening at 4pm. During early play hours from 12pm-4pm, Tournament Players can enter the Pinball Tournament Area Only without FPF show wristbands/lanyards, but will be required to pick up and display their FPF show entry from 4pm Friday-Sunday.
The Free Play Florida Pinball Championship 2024 will once again consist of FIVE IFPA sanctioned pinball tournaments:
Stern Pro Circuit Main Open Tournament (Expected to be an IFPA Certified tournament)
Classics Tournament (Expected to be an IFPA Certified tournament)
Women's Open Tournament
Amateur 4 hour Timed Match Play Tournament (40 players chosen by lottery on Saturday evening)
Open 4 hour Timed Match Play Tournament (40 players chosen by lottery on Saturday evening)

Main Tournament: November 22nd 2024 - November 24th 2024
Qualifying:
Format: Herb Style -- Best scores on 6 machines (11 machines present)
Entry Pricing: 1 entry for $5, 3 entries for $10, and 7 entries for $20
Times: Friday 12:00pm to midnight
Saturday 10:00am to midnight
Score system: 100-98-96-95, 94 to 0
Determining number of finalists:
• Tier 1 - Up to 79 total players: Top 16 qualified A division players with the next 8 players in B Division. NO BYES!
• Tier 2 - 80 or more total players: Top 24 qualified A division players with the next 16 players in B Division.
NOTE: A Division will have a single bye for the top ranked 8 players. B Division will still have NO byes.
Finals:
Time: Sunday 9 am
Format: Group play for both A & B divisions
Highest seed in each group has choice of game or position for the entire round
For the entirety of the finals, no machine may be selected by the same player more than once until that player has chosen every game available.
No stacking of machine choices
3 machines for each round
2 highest finishers advance to next round
Point System: 3-2-1-0
