London’s leading pancake purveyors Where the Pancakes Are have partnered with multi-award winning St. Ewe Free Range Eggs which will see the brands’ longstanding egg-cellent friendship culminate in a limited time only dish - the CFC - for a celebration on Tuesday 4th March.
Expect queue giveaways roll-the-dice games with plenty of prizes and even FREE pancakes for the first 25 guests to each of their central London restaurants (Battersea Power Station London Bridge & Fitzrovia). Be quick once they’re gone they’re gone.
The CFC - Cornflake Fried Chicken - will take centre stage. The dish compiles a buttermilk pancake oven-fried cornflake crusted buttermilk chicken fried egg and rocket plus guests can choose from a brunch variation with avocado hollandaise and house pickles or opt for an all-day alternative with fresh kimchi a sriracha dip and corn on the cob.
Bounded by their female foundry a shared love of good food & nutrition dedication to British farming and passion for eggs Patricia Trijbits (Where the Pancakes Are) and Bex Tonks (St. Ewe Free Range Eggs) are united in their belief that the best ingredients shape the best dishes and that’s why the limited-time-only CFC dish champions the St. Ewe Rich Yolk Egg.
St. Ewe Free Range Eggs and WTPA are also supporting FCN (The Farming Community Network); a nation-wide charity that provides direct support and a helpline to farmers farming families and people in rural communities during difficult times and periods of change. For every CFC sold £1 will be donated to their initiatives.
To get FREE pancakes in London this Pancake Day simply visit any of the Where The Pancakes Are stores on 4th March where they will be giving away 75 portions gratis. Be quick once they’re gone they’re gone.
Where The Pancakes Are will be taking walk-ins only on Shrove Tuesday with extended opening hours from 7am-10pm to satisfy pancake cravings all day all night. As well as the CFC (RRP £18.50) you will find other menu classics such as the all-time favourite American (bacon blueberries and maple syrup) the restorative Recovery (home-made nutty apricot granola almond butter banana maple syrup) the Simple (with lemon & sugar) and Callebauts’ 70% chocolate drenched Black Forest Berries. Prices start from £8.50.
