Free NYSSMA Nerves - Solo Prep Event

We are excited to host our annual NYSSMA Nerves; Solo Prep Event. Whether you are a first-time participant or have a bit more experience, performing a NYSSMA Solo in front of a judge can be nerve-wracking.

We welcome students to perform their NYSSMA Solo alongside their peers. This year we are featuring a professional music educator, performer, and NYSSMA judge, Dave Pratt to join us to give tips, pointers, and feedback!

This is an opportunity to play in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This event is designed to reduce the uncertainly and worries that often accompanies the NYSSMA experience.

Registration Details: This is a FREE event.

Reservations are only for the students who will be participating.

If a student is participating in NYSSMA for multiple instruments, they will need to choose 1 solo to perform at the event. All participants are required to stay for the duration of the event.
