Free Native Plant Day

Join us for our third annual Free Native Plant Day! We'll be giving away plants and showing you how to care for them.
About this Event

This annual event is part giveaway (while supplies last) and part educational workshops.

Giveaway details: We'll be giving away one plant per household. The plants are first-come-first-served, but we expect to have plenty for everyone.

Workshop details: Every hour on the hour, we'll be offering a 15-minute Native Gardening 101 workshop. It covers the basics of planning, planting, and maintaining your first native garden to help you get started and avoid rookie mistakes. The workshop will be held at 2-2:15, 3-3:15, 4-4:15, and 5-5:15 PM.

We hope you can join us and celebrate the last day of Meadow City's 2026 season!
