About the consultant :

At your free mini consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to access expert guidance and resources from expert Consultant Gynaecologist, , an experienced NHS Consultant at Chesterfield Royal Hospital and runs a private practice at Spire Claremont Hospital.

Mr Muthukumarappan specialises in pelvic organ prolaspes and all aspects of general gynaecology, including heavy periods and urinary incontinence.

His expertise also includes procedures like hysterectomy, hysteroscopy, ovarian cyst removal, and laparoscopic investigations.

Each appointment is a 10-minute one-to-one session were you can discuss common gynaecology conditions. Some of these conditions include:

• Pelvic organ prolapse
• Heavy periods
• Urinary incontinence
• Vulval inflammatory skin conditions
• Labial skin conditions (excess/enlarged labia and laxity)

Pre-booking is essential as places are limited, so to reserve a place online, please complete the order form and you will receive a call from our bookings team with a specific time to attend.

Mini consultations are an opportunity to ask any questions or concerns you may have and are not a formal outpatient consultation. If you wish to proceed to surgery, a full outpatient consultation will be required.
