Free Microgreens Workshop for Kids – Howick

Join Ali at UXBRIDGE for a hands-on microgreens workshop for kids and their caregivers.
Children will learn why reducing food waste matters and how to grow microgreens at home. Each child will make a take-home growing kit using recycled materials.
This workshop suits children aged 6–12 years. Each child must attend with an adult.
Please bring along small fruit trays (such as strawberry or other fruit punnets). We are aiming to teach children how everyday recyclable materials can be reused creatively and sustainably.
This Love Food Hate Waste workshop is proudly supported by Auckland Council and delivered by Compost Collective.
Spaces are limited, booking is essential: https://compostcollective.org.nz/events/free-microgreens-workshop-for-kids-howick-2/
