Free Mental Health First Aid Training for Carers (Rockhampton, QLD)

Join us for your Free Standard Mental Health First Aid Accreditation Training.

5-6 hours of online self-paced modules, followed by a 6-8 hour IN-PERSON training session in Rockhampton (location to be confirmed).

This IN-PERSON EVENT is designed to equip our carers and parents with the necessary skills to provide support to both adults and young people experiencing mental health challenges. The training will cover topics such as identifying warning signs, providing initial help, and guiding people to appropriate resources. This will begin with 5 - 6 hours of Self-paced learning online modules to be completed prior to the IN-PERSON session. Register now to secure your spot!

In addition to the MHFA training you will also recieve some support with some focus on Self care, stress managment and having safe conversations about mental health and wellbeing.

Please note this is a funded training program for carers, this is someone caring for someone at home with a physical disability or Mental health concern, addiction or Aging.
