FREE Mending workshop

Learn visible and invisible mending techniques to extend the life of your favourite garments, reducing their carbon footprint and keeping them out of landfill. This FREE drop in workshop is suitable for complete beginners, even if you’ve never picked up a needle before!

Bring a clothing item for historic textile artist Katie Sawyer to mend, learn to do it yourself or have a practice on our sample pieces to build your confidence. Mending materials and tools are provided.

The venue is the community Sky Garden, top parking floor of Golden Square Shopping Centre.
