FREE Marketing Training for Farmers and Market Managers: Elko, NV

In 2023, our team from the University of Nevada, Reno, Desert Farming Initiative, and Grown in Nevada (formerly Nevada Grown) visited all of the farmers markets in Nevada to learn about the marketing needs of Nevada farmers market managers and farmers. Data was compiled into a needs assessment publication. Findings that emerged were an interest in marketing training and resources for farmers and farmers market managers, so our team developed a training series to do just that!

Our first round of marketing trainings were held in 2024, and we are back in 2025 for another year of trainings with new materials and resources to share. We also published a strategic marketing plan that outlines details for making the most out of your website, social media, and more.

Please join us on January 22, 2025 in Elko, NV for an in-depth marketing training for Eastern Nevada farmers and farmers market managers.

Market managers that attend will have access to free advertising and social media promotion.

Farmers that attend will pe provided free produce bags, ties, and stickers to give to customers.

Free lunch will be provided.

Please bring a laptop to the training session along with your login information for your website, social media, and Google My Business to apply marketing techniques directly to your business. If you do not have a laptop, we have free rentals available.

This event is the first in a series of 5 marketing trainings. After this first in-person event, the remainder of the trainings (1 hour each) will take place weekly on Zoom.
