Our popular series of free Afternoon Recitals continues — we’re delighted to welcome The Shanty Girls to the Fratry Hall.
*Please note this event takes place on a Saturday, rather than our usual Wednesday slot*. Events are also taking place on 4 November (Edward Taylor organ recital) and 11 November (Isabella Briggs organ recital)
This event is free to enter; there will be a retiring collection at the end of the concert - please give what you can to support the Shanty Girls and the Cathedral.
All female shanty crew, established 2024 and based in Cumbria. We embrace a mix of traditional shanty songs, those written with a female perspective and women's working songs. We are a fun loving crew who enjoy performing.
