King's Cross Canalside Walk

The new King's Cross Canal-Side Activation Programme will help to increase awareness and appreciation of the canal's natural and cultural heritage among the community and visitors.
Come and join us to find out how being by the water has a positive impact on your wellbeing. The walk, run by Canal & River Trust, will be led by one of our volunteer walk leaders who is full of interesting information about the local area.
The walk will start outside of King's Cross Station, lead you to Gasholder Park and then walk the towpath along the Regent's Canal ending back at King's Cross Station. The walk will show you where the London Canal Museum is so, if you wish, you can go back and visit after the walk is over.
This is roughly a 2 hour walk.
These sessions are designed for adults and for children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways.
The great thing about walking is that you do not need any fancy equipment. Please just wear comfortable shoes, warm clothes if it is cold and bring a jacket if raining.
Dogs are welcome to join, but we ask they remain on a short lead and with consideration of other walk participants.

Please book one time slot per person. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot.
Parents and Guardians are required to accompany their children on this walk.
Walk ins will not be accepted. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or please get in touch with us to allow another person(s) a chance to take part.
