From fresh produce, to locally-made goods, to favorite food trucks, DeKalb’s downtown Farmers' Market has become a weekly summer staple.On Thursday, May 2 at noon, join vendors from this year’s market at the Ellwood House Museum for a panel discussion about the importance of local food and local business, moderated by organizer Virginia Filicetti. Panelists will include Tori Eisenberg, owner of Nature’s Handywork; Stacie Miller, owner of Baker’s Dream Dessert Co.; Dan Dietz of Slow Smoke BBQ; and Country Financial’s Gavin Wilson.
“Eat Local: Panel Discussion Featuring DeKalb Farmers' Market” is part of “Brown Bag Lunch,” a free lecture series offered in collaboration by the Ellwood House Museum and DeKalb County History Center. Participants are welcome to bring lunch and eat during the program.

Ellwood House Museum is located at 420 Linden Place in DeKalb. Parking is available on-site.
