You are cordially invited to come hang out in the Classic Books parking lot this Saturday! We'll be parked out back with the tent up, come help us keep Dekalb clean. Pickers, gloves, vests, and bags will be available to use. From there we can disperse North into the neighborhood, stroll downtown, or cruise the sidewalk of Lincoln Highway. The proprietor at location, Charles Sigwart has been kind enough to offer a free book for each attendee! When I stopped in to confirm permission, he was jamming to some classic rock and getting some books ready to go already, he's excited to help. Classic Books has a TON of quality books for a couple bucks each. Charles has always been a big supporter of environmental action - so while quantities last anyone that stops in to buy a book gets a free Scour the Earth sticker! Fun fact: He was a part of the first Earth Day around here. Stop in and ask him about it he's got some great stories.
