ROCKPORT — The Rockport Masonic Center continues its free lawn concerts on Wednesday, July 3, featuring the music of Ukes Rock from 6 to 7 p.m.The event is free to the public, with pass-the-hat donations taken for the band. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the summer night and music. This is a rain, go inside, or shine, stay outside, event.
One hamburger or two hot dog plates with a side, chips, drink and ice cream are available for $10 per plate. There will also be a 50-50 raffle drawn.
Future performers are: July 10, Anah Highlanders; July 17, Belfast Fiddlers; July 24, Jim Gibson; July 31, MoJO with Scott Kessel; Aug. 7, Mooshedz Band; Aug. 14, Belfast Fiddlers; Aug. 21, Breakers Jazz; Aug. 28, TBA; Sept. 4, Ukes Rock; and Sept. 11, Lise & Rose.
