Have you always wanted to explore the theater and be in the spotlight?This one-day-only, FREE workshop on Saturday, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the MOVP theater auditorium is geared toward youth ages 8 to 18 who are new to the theater or those who want to work more on their theater skills. Registration will open at 8:30 that morning.
Participants will learn basic stage direction and improv. Kids will try their newly-learned skills through acting out some brief scenes.
The final part of this is the most exciting -- everyone will have the opportunity to audition at a later time for a real show!! Auditions for our summer Jr. Players musical will take place later in May for kids 8 - 16 years old.
Please join us. Absolutely no experience necessary. Just be prepared to have fun!! Parents are welcome to stick around or drop off.
