7 p.m. - 9 p.m.: "Creating a Resume In Today's Market":

What strategies do you use to create or update a resume for today's job market?

How do you market your value clearly, quickly and strategically?

How do you include key skills, industry terminology, required qualifications, and important responsibilities?

How do you include your experience, expertise, strengths, accomplishments and your value proposition?

How do you focus on accomplishments, improvements, contributions, outcomes and business impact?

How do you create an ATS-friendly resume that includes simple formatting, standard section headings, relevant keywords, easy-to-read fonts and clean bullet points?

How do you emphasize transferable skills like communication, leadership, problem-solving, organization, team collaboration, project management, and customer relations skills?

How do you highlight relevant technology skills, such as specific software programs, CRM systems, AI tools, data analytics tools, Microsoft Office skills, use of collaboration platforms, communicate skills with industry-specific programs, and communicate digital literacy?

Career counselor Fred Ettinger will provide strategies on how to create and update your resume for today's job market. He will also be assisting job seekers during the "Professional Critique", from 6-7 p.m.
