Join us for a free guided family hike at River Legacy Nature Center on March 21, led by our expert naturalists. This is a relaxed, exploratory hike focused on discovering the signs of spring popping up along the trails.As we hike, naturalists may point out things like:
- Budding trees, emerging leaves, and early spring wildflowers
- Insects becoming active again and what they mean for the ecosystem
- Bird activity, including nesting behaviors and spring songs
- Animal signs showing how wildlife transitions from winter to spring
- How warmer weather and longer days spark new growth throughout the forest
