Get your family ready for another night of spooktacular fun as the Kirksville Parks and Recreation Department officially invites you to the 9th Annual FREE Halloween Flashlight EGGstravaganza! Join us at the North Park Sports Complex, located at 2710 Novinger St. The hunt begins promptly at 7:00 pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025. This year’s egg hunt will be divided into three new age brackets, located on three new fields:
• Red Field: Children ages 4 and under
• White Field: Children ages 5-9
• Blue Field: Children ages 10-12
The egg hunt begins at 7:00 pm sharp, and then the rush is on! Search through the shadows for 11,000 candy and toy-filled Halloween eggs that glow under a blacklight! New this year are our 4-and-under-friendly eggs, featuring a safe and colorful treat inside each egg. Please remember to bring your flashlight and a bag.
Announcing our Costume Photo Contest! All costumed participants can take a picture with our special guest: the Costumed ‘Not-Easter’ Bunny! Take a picture with your camera or phone in front of our photo backdrop and post it to our Facebook EGGstravaganza Event Page or tag us @KirksvilleParksandRec. You can also send us a private message with your photo attached or by emailing us at [email protected]. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes to be announced!
