Free activity for K-5th grade youth from 5:00 p.m. until supplies are gone on Friday, October 31. The event corresponds with the Historic Hannibal Marketing Council’s Main Street Trick or Treat event in Downtown Hannibal. Come inside the Hannibal Arts Council, at 105 S Main Street to create the project and get some candy. The Spooktacular Pom Pom Monster is a quickly-made creative project using pom poms, felt, googly eyes and chenille stems. It will be worth the stop as participants are also enjoying the Trick or Treat event. All supplies for the project will be provided. Participants may just stop by. Reservations are not requested or required.
Program sponsors helping make the project free for all are the George H. Riedel Private Foundation, The Community Foundation of West Central Illinois & Northeast Missouri, Marion County Endowment Fund and the Missouri Arts Council. Additional support comes from the Jesse David Cox Memorial Fund and HAC Program Scholarship Fund donors.
