Fancy exploring one of the quieter corners of the Yorkshire Dales with a qualified Mountain Leader?
Join us for a FREE guided walk from Reeth on Tuesday 10th November, funded by the National Lottery.
Led by Mountain Leader Nick Rowe, we’ll head towards the impressive Fremington Edge, a three-mile escarpment overlooking Arkengarthdale and Swaledale, with some wonderful views across the Yorkshire Dales.
This is a proper day out in the hills, with a friendly small group and no need to worry about planning the route or navigating yourself.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The exact distance and pace will be adapted to the group, but you should be comfortable walking at least 7 miles.
The route includes uneven ground, gates and stiles, with a steep stepped descent through the old lead-mining area, so a reasonable level of walking fitness is needed.

WHAT TO BRING
Walking boots, waterproofs, water, packed lunch and snacks. And bring something to take photos with because there should be plenty worth stopping for.
