FREE Furniture & Mattress Disposal Event

Registration and tickets are not required to participate.

Residents of Albemarle County, the City of Charlottesville, and the Town of Scottsville are invited to dispose of their unwanted furniture and mattresses on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The special collection event will take place at the Ivy Solid Waste & Recycling Center located at 4576 Dick Woods Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903. Commercial participation is prohibited.
