This August, we’ve invited a series of experts to step out of their comfort zone and into the Gallery to respond to works in our national collection. With leading practitioners in the fields of poetry, journalism and astrophysics, our special guests will look through the lenses of their respective professions to explore the collection and offer the insight of a new perspective.
Step into the shoes of journalist, critic and author of Foreign Return: On Art and Inhabitation, Neha Kale, as she reveals the power and possibilities of writing about art across different literary forms. In this talk Neha responds to Jenny Holzer’s Inflammatory Essay, 1978-83 and reflects on her writing process.
Friday Art Talks is a free weekly program. Hear from artists, curators and experts on the works in our collection and exhibition program.
