Our first free foraging walk of the season will be at Lake Wintergreen in Hamden, CT.There is a parking lot near Valerie Ct. We will meet by the trail map.
Free foraging walks are an opportunity for members to share their foraging knowledge with others. Participants can point out plants and mushrooms that they recognize and share how they have utilized them in the past.
We will not be picking any native plants on this walk.
This walk will be geared towards members with some foraging experience.
We will hold the walk rain or shine.
