Aye aye, ye scallywags and sea dogs! 🏴‍☠️
The Menai Muttineers be throwin’ open the gates for a FREE “Have-a-Go” Flyball Open Evenin’, and ye be invited to join the crew!
If ye ever fancied seein’ what all the barkin’ be about, now’s yer chance! We’ll be teachin’ ye and yer trusty hounds the basics of Flyball (or Chwimbel, as we like to call it here in Wales) from how the game be played, to the theory behind the training, and even a taste of the friendly chaos of competitions!
Aye, and here’s a bit of treasure for ye, there be TWO massive Flyball competitions comin’ to Anglesey in 2026, includin’ the UK Championships! That’s right, the island be turnin’ into the heart of the Flyball world, and we’d love to see some of our new crew runnin’ in those lanes by then!
During the open evenin’, ye can expect:
☠️ A fun intro to the sport of Flyball
🐾 Basic training sessions for ye and yer dog
⚓ A look at how we train and compete
📚 A short talk about competitions and how to get involved
🍪 Tea, Coffee and Biscuits for all good pirates and pups
After the session, ye’ll have the chance to join our Beginners’ Crew and start weekly trainin’ with the Muttineers if you have enjoyed it!
All dogs be welcome, big, small, shy, or bold, there’s a place aboard for every pup. So if ye or anyone ye know might fancy joinin’ the adventure, share this message far and wide!
