For Black History Month, learn about California’s Maya Angelou, her life, her work, and the time she was a streetcar driver. At 11am, children can design their own paper rainbow cloud art based off one of Maya Angelou’s famous quotes then come to the Journey to Work: Pioneering Patterns of Growth exhibit to hear a reading of Little People, Big Dreams: Maya Angelou.
At 2pm, docents will lead a tour of the museum for adults.
Admission is free all day, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Monterra Credit Union.
