Free Film: The Birds
Alfred Hitchcock’s classic horror-thriller. Not quite a Halloween screening but chillingly close, so bring popcorn and relax – if you can!
Hitchcock’s 'The Birds' (1963) is loosely based on a short story by Daphne du Maurier. It follows a wealthy San Francisco socialite who visits a quiet California coastal town, only for the residents to be inexplicably terrorised by massive and increasingly violent flocks of birds.
Running time: 119 mins
