On July 5th, 2026, the Havilah Beardsley House will be open to the public for no admission from 1-4 pm! Now's the time to come check out one of our iconic, historic Elkhart homes for absolutely free. The Havilah Beardsley House is the oldest brick home in Elkhart, built by Elkhart's founder in 1848, and has been restored to the style of the 1870s, when his son James Rufus Beardsley renovated it into a grandiose Italian style.
