Step into a storybook afternoon at the New Bedford Art Museum! ✨

Join children’s author Stefanie Foster Brown for a heartwarming reading of her debut picture book My Heart Speaks Kriolu, inspired by her family’s Cape Verdean roots and the vibrant spirit of New Bedford.

We’re transforming the KidZone classroom into a cozy reading nook, complete with space for little listeners, big imaginations, and lots of creative energy. After the story, kids can roll up their sleeves for a hands-on craft with our KidZone crew, the perfect way to bring the magic of the book to life!

This event is completely free and open to everyone. Bring your curiosity, your cozies, and maybe your favorite stuffed animal to listen along. Books will be available for purchase and signing after storytime.
