Musicians from the engaging Sabrosas Latin Orchestra bring the vibrant sounds of classic Afro-Cuban and salsa music to life. Hear beloved tunes popularized by the Buena Vista Social Club, along with other iconic pieces from these rich musical traditions. Blending music with educational storytelling, this program will explore the history and evolution of these genres from Africa to the Caribbean and highlight the European influences that shaped them. This diverse group of performers hails from the United States, Mexico, and Cuba, bringing authentic cultural perspectives to the stage. Join us for a musical journey that is both entertaining and educational!
This program will be presented in a bilingual English/Spanish format.
