Free entry. Due to this being a free event, there will be up to 8 promo packs distributed to the top 8 players of the event. With this being an Eventlink run event, proxies are not allowed. This is a special summer event we are trying out. From this event to the Hobbit Prerelease. Then we will decide which route seems to be better. Either being free with no booster packs for prizes (just promo packs) or $10 cash entry with 2 booster packs per person put into a prize pool (with promo packs as well).
This event starts at 6 pm. If you are not here before 6 pm, we can not guarantee entry to this event.
Minimum 8 players for the event to happen.
4 player pods (or 3 if uneven numbers)
2 Rounds – 90 minutes rounds
If a player demonstrates an endless loop, other such instant win scenario (such as winning instantly via Thassa's Oracle) that player will win the pod (what is left of it), and then step out so the other players may finish the game.
At the end of each round each person will be awarded points based on when they were eliminated from the game as follows:
First player out: 1 point
Second player out: 2 points
Third player out: 3 points
Last player standing: 4 points.
If a player demonstrates an infinite combo, or other instant win scenario, they will receive the 4 points for winning the game and the awarded points for the other players will shift downward. These points will be used to help create more equitable groups for the second round.
