FREE ENGAGING EVENT WITH DIANNE SOLIS

Dianne Solis is an award-winning journalist who specializes in immigration and justice reporting. Her work has looked at immigrant family separations at the border, the M**der of a 12-year-old boy by a Dallas cop, racist redlining in Dallas neighborhoods and the horror unreeled at an Uvalde elementary school in 2022. Her passion? Elevating the humanity in each story.

She was also a foreign correspondent in Mexico for the Wall Street Journal. She was a social justice and immigration writer at Dallas Morning News. She also was a foreign correspondent in Mexico for the Wall Street Journal. Her work has aired on KERA, the Texas Standard and been featured on NPR. She is a California native, and a graduate of California State University, Northwestern University. She also studied at Harvard University in a fellowship for journalists.
