Free E-Bike Trial

Our instructor led E-Bike sessions will last approximately one hour and are tailored to individual needs as they are small in numbers. Participants are asked to wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather conditions of the day. The routes and distance taken will depend upon the people attending on the day.

We do advise people to wear helmets on our rides but this is not complusory. Instruction on using the E-Bike is on hand from our Active Travel Instructors to get the best from your experience.

Please arrive for your session 15 minutes prior to the start time so we can ensure the e-bike is a suitable size for your ride.

We plan to explore the local area using local cycle paths towards Hebburn Quarry, Bowes Railway and if time down towards Bill Quay and the Riverside. We try to keep cycling on the roadways to minimum. The ride routes are pre-planned and are normally between 3-4 miles in distance.
