FREE E-Bike Test Rides at Go Active Greenhead Park Huddersfield

Meeting Point: Walk Wheel Ride stall near the basket ball courts at Greenhead Park.
EPIKS is offering the district its next batch of free e-bike test rides. Take a guided ride with our experienced qualified instructor. Please note: the route is partly on the road and designed for those who can already cycle.
The instructor will then lead your group of up to four cyclists on a short cycle ride around the area to get a feel of the benefits that e-bikes can bring.
Please book to reserve your free e-bike test ride. Check in will be at the start of your session at the EPIKS stand. At check-in, we will require a driving licence photocard or passport as security.
Our insurance allows us to offer test rides to anyone over 18 only. Join us whether you are regular cyclist who wants to compare the e-bike experience, someone who hasn’t cycled in years or someone who finds their health or the hills are too high a barrier to cycling.
Walk Wheel Ride is working to make it simpler, safer and more accessible for everyone in the district to choose walking, wheeling and cycling as part of their everyday journeys. We want to help more people choose active travel more often for their local journeys. We hope our e-bike test rides will give you the skills.

We have plenty of other activities happening today - bike skills for children; Bike Maintenance Skill ; Dr Bike sessions; Guided walks and the Neighbourhood Policing Team will also be there with Bike Register; plus the EPIKS team will be their to answer all of your active travel questions.
