Free Digital Skills Class: MyChart: Account Navigation Basics

Familiarize and inform participants with the basic features of MyChart and its benefits, such as viewing medical information, communicating with doctors, reviewing laboratory results, scheduling appointments, and renewing medications. All these features and more that are accessible from a phone, tablet, or computer.

Learning Objectives: 

1. Educate participants on MyChart account navigation: Participants will learn how to navigate the MyChart app's main screen, understand the purpose of various icons and sections (e.g., messages, visits, test results, billing), and explore additional tools.
2. Familiarize participants with basic MyChart features: Introduce users to core functionalities such as communicating with doctors, viewing medical information, reviewing lab results, scheduling appointments, and renewing medications.
3. Guide participants in activating and managing notifications: A key objective is to teach users how to activate and customize notifications within the MyChart app and on their mobile phones, ensuring they stay informed about urgent updates from their healthcare providers.
