Free Darkroom Photography Workshop

DokaLab is a darkroom photography project based in Amsterdam.

DokaLab offers an eco-friendly, entry-level, black & white photo development kits designed for anyone interested in exploring the magic of hands-on photography, whether they’re complete beginners or more experienced.

In this immersive photo development workshop, participants will be introduced to the art of darkroom photography. We will guide participants through each step and aid them in transferring digital images from their phones into tangible black & white prints. The aim of this workshop is to foster creativity, offer a tangible connection to photography, and teach hands-on skills that participants can continue to explore on their own.

Due to limited space, the worshop will have a maximum of 12 participants working in teams of two. No worries if you want to join the workshop alone though, it is also a great opportunity to meet and collaborate with other people.

All materials, other than smartphones, will be provided.

Some refreshments will also be available.
