Formed in 2021 during the throes of the Covid-19 outbreak, The Better Things are four like-minded alternative/new wave/indie rock and roll lifers who prefer to cover the bands that carried them through their younger years to present day: cutting edge bands such as REM, The Smiths, U2, Psychedelic Furs, Crowded House, The Cure, Buffalo Tom, Radiohead, and more.
Based in Newburyport, Mass., The Better Things are: Bob Hoffman (drums/percussion), Jessen Wehrwein (bass), Patrick Chamberlin (lead guitar, vocals) and Chris O’Donnell (lead vocals, rhythm guitar).
