The Friends of Winfield Public Library invite the community to a free concert by musician Sarah McQuaid at 7:00pm on Thursday, October 15. In addition to a wonderful evening of music, the event will kick-off celebration of National Friends of Libraries Week (October 18-24).
Born in Spain, raised in Chicago and now living in rural England after spending many years in Ireland, McQuaid is as multinational as she is multitalented. Her original compositions span a wide range of styles, from contemplative ballads to playful blues to atmospheric instrumentals. Her performances also include the occasional folk song, evergreen classic or unexpected contemporary cover.
The concert is free, open to the public, and sponsored by the Friends of Winfield Public Library
