Enjoy a free concert at Chestnut Ridge Park Amphitheater on Saturday, August 30th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This all-ages performance is completely free, with the Columbus based group Graveyard Pete & The New Appalachian Sound.
Bring a picnic and experience captivating stories and an award-winning blend of folk, rock, blues and Appalachian roots music.
Friends of Chestnut Ridge Park, supported by Akron Parks Collaborative have organized three free events this summer (this is the second), funded through a placemaking project grant from ArtsNow and the Summit County Land Bank (with support from the National Endowment for the Arts).
