"Cultivate Life into your Soil" Every Saturday 7-11am thru summer season I am making a community batch of compost tea for my neighbors. It is free on first come first serve basis. When it's gone it's gone until next brew. Bring some sort of liquid tight container, old milk jugs should work fine. You should use the tea immediately on your favorite plants. There is not a long shelf life on good compost tea. One could use it concentrate or one could cut it with water and make a 50/50 mix. Ideally one would use non chlorinated water, rain water, or filtered water. One could always fill a bucket of water and let the chlorine off gas.
Anyways my meditation has been how does one turn dormant dirt into living soil. Where I am at in the meditation is we need to populate microbes and microbiology into the soil. They will do all the rest of the work. What I have noticed in the garden where ever I introduced microbiology the soil appeared to balance everything out. I didn't need to keep feeding my plants because my plants were finally feasting. I have noticed pest pressures and diseases subside. Anyways the goal for summer is to drench back yard and front yard with compost tea and see if we can raise the vibes in the garden.
