Join Us for a Free Community Tai Chi Workshop!
Looking to try something new? Come experience the fundamentals of Tai Chi in a friendly, laid-back setting. Perfect for all ages and skill levels, this workshop is a great way to boost your balance, reduce stress, and connect with others.
When and where? It’s an in-person event, so bring your friends, wear comfy clothes, and get ready to move and unwind together.
No experience needed—just bring your curiosity and a smile!

Our instructor has over 30 years of experience in Tai Chi Ch'uan and can't wait to share her knowledge and expertise. We will be covering Qi Gong exercises and the Yang Style Tai Chi short form.. Please see the information below to help you make the most out of this free session.
- Please wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing (any clothing that is well suited for a comfortable range of motion, workout wear is perfect).
- If you do not have indoor soft-soled training shoes, you will work out with bare feet. Socks are welcome, but you will find them very slippery.
- A personal water bottle is suggested for your own comfort.
- Please arrive at least ten minutes early to find parking and sign our participation/insurance waiver.
- If you cannot make this event, please let us know so we may accommodate someone else if needed.
- We are locate at 4 Elton Street next to 34 Elton St. You will find our entrance to the right of Fiamma Centro (restaurant) through the parking lot.

Warm Up
Info: We will warm up with soft exercises to increase our joint mobility and prepare our muscles for activity.

Qi Gong Exercises
Info: We will learn and practice a 12 move Qi Gong set for balance, mobility, and breath adjustments.
🕑: 01:35 PM - 02:20 PM
Tai Chi Yang Style Short Form
Info: We will learn and practice a short form. Movements include Commence Tai Chi, Ward Off Left and Right, Roll Back and Press, White Crane Spreads Wings, Hold the Ball. Brush Knee, Grasp Sparrow's Tail, Single Whip, Parry and Punch, Close Hands.
